The E! Oscars Red Carpet Show Has Some New Faces

I thought that I was really adept at noticing who the red carpet arrival show hosts were during awards season, but I must have been slacking, because on the E! Oscars red carpet, there was one face I wasn't familiar with. I know Ryan Seacrest (I haven't been living under a rock); Giuliana Rancic (same); and Ross Mathews, but who is E!'s Zuri Hall?

Rancic and Seacrest are red carpet staples — at the beginning of the 2017 Oscars broadcast, they were chatting about how this is their 11th year doing this show together. That's longer than... any of my relationships. I don't know about you. Mathews has been on E! for a long time, too, manning the auxiliary commentary for red carpet shows from the Emmy Awards to the Independent Spirit Awards, but Hall, pardon my ignorance is new to me! So who is she? She joined the E! News lineup nearly two years ago, along with correspondents Sibley Scoles and Erin Lim, and before she joined the celebrity fanaticism at E!, Hall was on MTV. She hosted The Challenge: After Show and The Challenge: Battle Of The Exes: Aftershow. She must be pretty realized to not have to talk to people covered in mud but instead covered in diamonds now, huh?

Hall also runs a successful YouTube channel called "Hey, Zuri Hall" and a blog, AlphaBabe. So, if this whole E! thing doesn't work out, it's nice to know that Hall has something to fall back on. For now, I'm enjoying a new voice on the E! red carpet shows — Hall seems like the perfect foil for Mathews, and, most importantly, it seems like they have a really great time together. Happy awards season, you guys!
