Selena Gomez's First Coach Campaign Is Stunning
Unless you've sworn off social media, chances are you've heard that Selena Gomez is the new face of Coach. Not only has the singer been spotted sporting Coach on red carpets and on Instagram, but now Selena Gomez's first Coach campaign, shot by legendary photographer Steven Meisel, has just been released, and the images are absolutely gorgeous.
In one of the shots for the Coach Fall 2017 campaign, Gomez wears a dreamy boho dress while in the blush-colored back seat of a vintage 1976 Plymouth Fury. Of course she not-so-casually holds a baby blue leather Coach bag as she stares (read: smizes) directly into the camera. The other two images evoke a similar feeling.
The campaign came to life thanks to the ultimate dream team of Meisel for photography, Pat McGrath for makeup, Karl Templer for styling, Guido Paolo for hair, and Fabien Baron for creative direction. It really doesn't get much better than that, folks.
"From the very beginning, the creation of Coach campaigns have been an exciting and collaborative effort," said Meisel in a press release. "It's been a pleasure working with Stuart Vevers and the team of incredibly talented individuals behind the brand. Inviting Selena Gomez to join the Coach family takes it to another level."
The campaign will also include a few videos to showcase each of the "it" bags of the season: the Rogue, the Coach Swagger, and the Eddie.
Few details have been released about the partnership between Gomez and Coach, but seeing as Gomez is the most followed person on Instagram, I imagine that a lot of social media posts are part of the deal, and what better images to share on Instagram than campaign photos?
She's killing it. And I must admit, these images do make me want to buy a Coach bag. That blue one is beautiful.
