This Olympic swimmer has some exciting news. Ryan Lochte and Kayla Rae Reid are parents, a rep for the couple first confirmed to Us Weekly Thursday. They welcomed their first child, a boy, in the early morning of June 8. Lochte took to Twitter soon after, where he not only announced his son's name, but also expressed the joy he's feeling now that he is a dad.

"Never seen a miracle happen before," he tweeted. "Until this morning at 5:46 am when CAIDEN ZANE LOCHTE was born. can't stop crying from tears of joy." He also posted an announcement on Instagram, where he revealed Caiden weighed in at 7 pounds, 14 ounces. He also said the birth of his son is a "dream come true!"

The 32-year-old previously told Us Weekly in January that he and his fiancée wanted to choose a different name for their son. "We want something unique," he said. Well, Caiden Zane certainly isn't a moniker you hear every day. It's also a strong name, if I do so myself. I quite like it.

The couple first announced they were having a baby in December 2016 with a truly appropriate Instagram. The photo featured the two in a swimming pool (of course) with Lochte kissing Reid's stomach. He captioned it, "My Christmas gift came early this year, can't wait for next year! Best news I've ever received #CLOUD9 #excited #family #love #2017."

I think it's safe to say that Lochte is just as excited to officially be a dad as he was when he initially learned Reid was pregnant.
