Celebrity workouts are all the rage, but this one is definitely deserving of the majority opinion. You can work out like Ruth Bader Ginsburg with this new book from the Notorious R.B.G.'s own personal trainer Bryant Johnson. The RBG Workout: How She Stays Strong… and You Can Too! is currently scheduled for release this fall from Houghton Mifflin Harcourt.
The second woman appointed to the Supreme Court of the U.S., 84-year-old Ruth Bader Ginsburg has become an icon in recent years, and it's safe to say that Ginsburg holds a special place in the hearts of many women across the country.
Holding a special place in Ginsburg's heart is Johnson himself. The SCOTUS Justice calls her personal trainer "[a] very important part of my life," and she has reportedly left at least one meal with President Obama to make her appointment with Johnson.
The RBG Workout features illustrations of Justice Ginsburg performing planks, push-ups, and squats in her SCOTUS robes and sneakers. The routine Johnson has designed for her is not for the faint of heart, however, and those who go in expecting no more than a dainty sweat will receive a harsh wake-up call. As Politico's Ben Schreckinger writes, "After 90 grueling minutes, panting and red in the face, I had more or less successfully completed the Ginsburg workout."
You too can work out like Ruth Bader Ginsburg when The RBG Workout hits store shelves on Oct. 3.
