Oscar Isaac Is Now A Dad
Exciting news for Star Wars fans, baby lovers, and the world. On Friday, it was revealed that Oscar Isaac and Elvira Lind welcomed their first child via a video of Lind featuring her new baby that was shown at the Tribeca Film Festival. As People reports, Lind's film Bobbi Jene won best documentary feature at the festival, and she accepted the award in a video that shows her holding the new baby and sounding very excited about the win. Bustle reached out to Isaac's rep for comment, but did not receive a response at the time of publication.
In the video clip, which has since been posted to Twitter, Lind says, "Thank you, Tribeca Film Festival and thank you to the jury. I'm beyond words. It's amazing. If I could, I would be dancing, jumping up and down, probably all week long. Thank you, thank you, thank you."
While Isaac and Lind tend to keep their personal lives very private, as People points out, while appearing on the radio show Sway in the Morning earlier in April, the actor confirmed that he and Lind were expecting a baby and also shared that they were going to have a boy.
Also on Friday, Lind tweeted, "...what a week it has been. A little lost for words." No surprise there! In the course of one week, Lind attended the premiere of her film at Tribeca, welcomed a child, and won a major award. That's a lot of accomplishments at once. Congrats to Lind and Isaac on all of them.
