Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's daughter has once again proven why she is so fantastic. Recently, North West got a time out, but rather than sticking to the traditional rules of the punishment, the three-year-old took it to the next level. In an Instagram shared Tuesday by Kardashian, North is seen lying on a mat on the bathroom floor, a towel over her face and legs, her head on a pillow, and a stuffed animal next to her.
At first, one might think she was napping, but oh no, she was pulling a Parks and Recreation moment by treating herself to a much-needed spa day. As her mom explained next to the photo, "That time North gets a time out & is a little too quiet... I go in her room to check on her & she's in the bathroom, made her own spa & tells me she's chilling out [crying laughing emoji]"
Why didn't I ever think of doing this when I was put in time out during my childhood? North is obviously a genius and absolutely her parents' daughter. I mean, only someone with parents who have the last names Kardashian and West would think of turning a time out into a spa. When haven't both the rapper and the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star gone above and beyond in outlandish ways? North has definitely picked up on that. For her, it's clearly all about going big, no matter if it's a punishment.
Also, it's pretty clever of North to figure out a way to enjoy her time out. I mean, time outs are the worst. Usually, you're supposed to just sit there, do nothing, and think about what you did wrong. How boring is that? North sure wasn't going to stick to the average time out and decided to transform it into something she'd at least have fun doing, all while being able to relax.
I'd like to thank North, because the next time I need a break or a nap, you can bet I'm going to create my own spa out of it. Or, you know, actually go to the spa so I make less work for myself.
