Michelle Williams' Globes Date Is Her Famous BFF

Typically, celebs attending awards shows bring their significant others as their dates, or perhaps a beloved family member. It's not too common for a star to bring his or her BFF — but that didn't stop Michelle Williams' Golden Globes date from being Busy Philipps, her longtime friend and former Dawson's Creek co-star. Williams, who is nominated for Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture, appeared on the show's red carpet alongside Phillips, and the duo made for a truly adorable pair.

Williams and Philipps have known each other for many years now, ever since they co-starred on Dawson's Creek back in the '90s. In the years since, they've attended several awards shows together, appeared on each other's social media accounts, and have even co-starred once more, on a 2013 episode of Philipps' show Cougar Town. Recently, Philipps, who's currently appearing on Vice Principals and I Like You Just the Way I Am, accompanied Williams to the Critics Choice Awards, an occasion she documented on her popular Instagram.
