Rejoice! This New M&Ms Flavor Is Here To Stay

While it might seem like M&Ms are always rolling out a new flavor that's here to stay, the reality is they're always rolling out a flavor that's only here for a hot minute. Most of their fun flavors are seasonal, so we only get them for a few weeks out of the year — but now, my personal favorite, White Chocolate M&Ms are becoming a permanent flavor! In the past, we'd have to wait until spring time to indulge in the creamy, rich, white chocolate M&M experience, but now, according to Candy Hunting, the flavor is here to stay. So apparently I wasn't the only one who looked forward to this seasonal cameo. The overlords at the M&M's headquarters have apparently listened to the pleas of their customers and are giving in to our white chocolate needs!

So no longer will the white chocolate M&M's be considered the Easter M&M's, they'll officially be brought off the holiday shelf and added to that year-round bodega shelf that we all frequent. I know, I know, it sounds too good to be true. But Candy Hunting has a strong reputation for delivering verifiable news about all of our favorite sweets and junk foods. They know about the new flavors before we do, and they seem to have a good track record. But to be safe, before you get a "White Chocolate M&M's Forever" mural tattoo on your back, wait until you hear the announcement from Mars, the company that's responsible for M&Ms.

But while we're on the topic of seasonal flavors transitioning into permanent flavors, here are a few other holiday favorites that Mars should really consider granting year-round access to.

Peanut M&Ms are so old school. This updated, sweeter nut candy was so delish.

S'mores everything! Why wouldn't they keep this around?! It's perfect year-round.

I get why this is seasonal, but it's so good that I fully believe people would buy them even when they're not in the Halloween spirit.

Cafe Mocha

How can this not be a staple?! We all love chocolate, we all love coffee. This is a harmonious win!

Dark Hot Chocolate

Yes, please. More of this. This is the best after dinner bite. It tasted almost like a more adult version of the classic M&M.

BOO-terscotch

This is just about as sweet as M&Ms get. Can't they just change the name to make them sound less seasonal? People enjoy the butterscotch flavor all year.

Strawberry Shortcake

The fruitiest M&M there ever was. This was such a fresh flavor that totally changed the way we thought of M&Ms. Bring it back!
