If this baby news is any indication, 2017 is already off to a sweet start. On Sunday, Lauren Conrad announced she's pregnant — in the most L.C. way possible. Along with an artsy picture of her sonogram (and sparkly nail polish, of course), she wrote on Instagram, "Happy New Year! I have a feeling 2017 is going to be the best year yet..." This will be the Laguna Beach alum's first child with her husband William Tell. Honestly, this news is so cute — you might even shed a single black mascara tear.
As a refresher, Conrad and Tell tied the knot in 2014. The pair have an adorable love story — they reportedly met on a blind date on Valentine's Day in 2012. Back in 2015, Conrad talked about how happy Tell makes her in a blog post. "My favorite thing about being married is knowing that I have a partner in life that I get to do so many wonderful things with," she wrote at the time. "Dreaming of the things we will do 20 years from now is so fun."
Having their first baby definitely can be added to the list of "wonderful things" they get to experience together. Considering fans watched the ups and downs of her past relationships play out on TV, it's great to see her finally find her happily-ever-after. And if I had to guess, that is going to be one career driven and well-dressed little kid. Who knows, maybe even a future reality star? I'd love to see a Hills spinoff with Conrad's offspring 20 years from now.
