Ryan Seacrest Tried To Get Kris Jenner To Confirm Kylie's Pregnancy On Live TV But She Shut. Him. Down.

It seems if anyone is going to confirm or deny that Kylie Jenner is pregnant, it's going to be Kylie, herself. This was proven, once again, when Kris Jenner responded to Ryan Seacrest on Live With Kelly and Ryan Monday, after the American Idol host texted her asking if Kylie really was expecting her first child with rapper Travis Scott, as first reported by TMZ on Friday, Sept. 22. (Bustle reached out to Scott's rep for comment, but has yet to receive a response; Kylie's rep could not be reached.)

During Monday's episode of the daytime talk show, Seacrest and Ripa explained that he texted Jenner, who he works with on Keeping Up With the Kardashians as an executive producer, before walking out to the do the live show. Apparently, they saw a "bubble" pop up, aka it looked like Kris was getting ready to respond, as soon as they were getting ready to start the show. So, they then had to explain the situation to everyone watching, as they stared at the phone awaiting Kris' reply.

They both seemed pretty excited and on the edge of their seats waiting to hear what she had to say, but their hopes were quickly dashed when Kris basically gave no confirmation or denial, whatsoever. As Seacrest relayed to the studio audience and viewers:

"Kris says Kylie's not confirming anything. That's the news from the family this morning. Kylie is not confirming anything."

Ripa was beyond disappointed, as she said, "So now we're sitting here with that hanging over our heads."

This isn't the first time the 61-year-old momager has responded this way. While attending the Bottega Veneta show at Milan Fashion Week on Saturday, she told The Hollywood Reporter about the baby rumors surrounding Kylie, "It wouldn't be the family if something didn't happen every single day." Then, an image of Kris at the fashion show was tweeted by THR's style and fashion news director, which was captioned, "Kris Jenner, at Milan Fashion Week, says she was surprised to wake up to Kylie Jenner pregnancy social media blitz this a.m. Won't confirm."

At the same Bottega Veneta event, Kris opened up to The Cut about whether or not she knew this particular news was going to break. "I just woke up this morning," she said, before adding, "She’s not confirmed anything. I think it’s kind of wild that everyone is just assuming that that’s just happening." Then, after The Cut inquired if she really didn't know the "rumor was going to happen", Kris answered, "Something happens every single day. You never know what is going to break at any moment."

As for Kylie's other family members, The Sun reported Monday that Caitlyn Jenner confirmed her youngest daughter's pregnancy via a statement reportedly given by her rep after the outlet asked for comment on rumors that the former I Am Cait star wasn't personally told that Kylie is supposedly pregnant. "All I can tell you is that it was some time ago," the statement read, according to The Sun. Caitlyn's rep had no comment for Bustle regarding the reported statement.

According to The Sun, Kim Kardashian was also asked about her sister's alleged pregnancy by reporters during a night out with Kanye West in Santa Monica over the past weekend. Kardashian reportedly told the reporters that she "didn't want" to make any comment.

Both Kris and Kardashian's responses show that you can ask them all you want if Kylie is going to have a baby or not, but they aren't going to tell you one way or another. It seems like they're rightfully leaving it up to Kylie for if or when she's ready to comment. If the Life of Kylie star truly is pregnant, then it's not up to anyone to confirm that other than herself.
