Tarte's Tight & Bright Multi-Mask Is Just As Good As It Sounds
The world is full of multi-taskers. People texting while walking, drinking coffee while catching up on the morning news, and reading emails while their out to lunch. The less time wasted the better, right? The same goes with skincare, and Tarte's Tight & Bright Multi-Mask proves it. The skincare item has two vegan face mask formulas that you can use alone or at the same time. I tested the product out, and it's just as incredible as it sounds.
When I heard that Tarte created their first-ever face mask, I couldn't help but be excited. The brand has been slowly branching into skincare territory for months now. From their under-eye patches to their Ready, Set, Radiate Skin Mist, which I completely fell in love with after a week of use, they've been on a roll. The Tight & Bright Multi-Mask is yet another skincare item to keep on your radar. It has two gluten-free formulas in one container, so that you can target pore-tightening and skin-brightening all at the same time.
Multi-masking has been around for a while now. Basically, it's the technique of using two face masks at once. That usually means buying two different products. Thanks to Tarte, now you only need to purchase one. The purple side of the Tight & Bright Multi-Mask cleanses your skin, while the golden one helps shrink pores.

After testing it out every other day for a week, I'm in love with this product. It really does what it says it will in a short amount of time. I used the golden gel-like mask underneath my eyes and on my T-zone and the mud mask on my cheeks. I loved being able to have both formulas ready to go at the same time, and it gets bonus points for making me feel like a warrior while I was wearing it.
One minor setback — the purple and golden formulas take different times to set on the skin. By the time you wait for the pore-tightening golden mask to dry, the mud mask is a little too dry and hurts a little to take off. Of course, that can be fixed by not waiting as long as I did, so it's not a major con by any means.
If you're looking to get in on this skin experience, you can shop the Tight & Bright Multi-Mask on the Tarte website on June 6. You'll also be able to pick it up in stores at Ulta Beauty on June 26 and at Sephora on July 14. The double-teaming mask costs $40, which I would say is worth the money. Especially since it's paraben- mineral oil- and gluten-free on top of being vegan. I can't wait to see what Tarte thinks up next!
