Wally Runs Into Savitar On 'The Flash'

Things never really calm down in Central City. Just hours after defeating Gorilla Grodd and his army of super Gorillas, saving Central City from Gorilla destruction, Wally literally ran into another villain: Savitar. At the very end of The Flash's "Attack on Central City," while running through town on his way to pick up some Big Belly Burger for his new live-in girlfriend Jesse (yay!), Wally stopped in the middle of the street and spotted Savitar right there in front of him. But, is Savitar back on The Flash? Well, the big bad certainly has unfinished business in Central City.

Savitar, the self-proclaimed God of Speed, has it in for Barry Allen, not to mention the fact that there's a future timeline where he murders Iris in front of Barry. But, what does he want with Wally? Well, remember, Savitar is the one who enslaved Julian to act as Doctor Alchemy and create metas, including Wally and Caitlin. And he did so using psychic connections, meaning he is connected to Wally in a unique, and likely slightly evil, way. So it makes sense that he would be looking for Barry and reaching out to him. That is, if Savitar really was there at all.

In the promo for next week's episode, Barry appears convinced that Wally is having visions of Savitar. Fans will remember that earlier in the season, metas changed by Alchemy were lured out through their dreams and a psychic connection prompted by Savitar. He could be using this same power to manipulate Wally, and thus put Team Flash in danger.

It's a good thing Jesse decided to stay in Central City, because with Savitar back in town, Barry's going to need all the help he can get.
