Pat McGrath's Skin Fetish 003 Was Restocked
Blink and you missed it: In a whirlwind tale of generosity and glow, Pat McGrath Labs brought back their famed Skin Fetish 003 highlighter. Comprised of a highlighter and dual-ended highlighting stick, the set broke the Internet, in technical terms, when it debuted a few months ago and promptly sold out. And while alternatives abound — literally, there's a new highlighter everywhere you look — the Pat McGrath touch made this guy one to covet. The woman knows glow. So when she announced via Instagram that it'd be back for another go, the first thought in my mind and Google? Just one question, "Is Pat McGrath's Skin Fetish 003 restock sold out?"
If you missed the post when it first dropped, well, Skin Fetish 003 is unfortunately sold out for now. McGrath posted the news with the caption "SOLD OUT!!! ⚡️⚡️⚡️ Sending MAJOR LOVE to everyone who snatched #SKINFETISH003 today! ⚡️⚡️⚡️ If you missed out, don't fear... Mother hears! 😉😉😉," so all's not lost.
No solid information on a return has been announced yet, but dang it if those aren't some optimism-inspiring winky faces. Who knows how long we'll have to wait this time, but rest assured it's worth it. The $72 dollar highlighters come in two — wait for it — holographic colors, and with a three-step system that lets you control the intensity, they can edge from work-friendly to seriously ethereal.
Uber prescient: the dewy finish of the balm end alone calls to mind Ciaté London's new Dewy Stix, while used on eyelids, it's a dead ringer for MILK's Eye Vinyl.
It's good, it's real good. A step more realistic than the holographic blue and green highlighters happening, but out-of-this-world gorgeous nonetheless.
