Morphe's Prep & Set Setting Spray Is Worth The Hype
There is no worse feeling than finishing your makeup, grabbing your setting spray, and then having it drench your face with water. But say goodbye to that, because Morphe's Prep & Set Setting Spray just changed the game. The brand created an aerosol face mist that smells great, stays all day, and is actually affordable. Needless to say, this is a setting spray that you won't want to miss out on.
Morphe's Prep & Set doesn't officially launch until May 9 at 1 p.m. ET, but I've been testing it out for about a week to see what it's all about. Let's just say that it was love at first spray. At a glance, it's clear to see that this product is different than other ones on the market. The product comes in a bottle similar to a hairspray, instead of your typical pump sprayer. That's part of what makes it such a great setting mist.
The spray is so fine that you don't have to worry about it being too wet. It also goes on extremely evenly, so you don't have to use a ton of product for it to work. As soon as you spray it, it sinks into your skin and almost melts the makeup into your face. It's incredible, really.
Then there's the smell. If nothing else, buy this and use it as perfume because it's incredible. I can't exactly put my finger on the scent, but there is definitely coconut involved. Before all you scent-sensitive people stop reading, just know that it’s not super strong. You can definitely smell the Prep & Spray scent in the air as soon as you spritz it, but it fades pretty quickly.
What doesn't fade is the stay-power. The brand also claims that the product contains shine-control ingredients. While I don't have the oiliest skin, it did hold up through a night at the bar, so I'd say that it's pretty darn great. Every day that I've used this, my foundation has stayed flawless.
Then there's the price. With the name "Morphe" on the bottle, you already know it's going to be affordable. The Prep & Set Spray will be available for $14.99, plus you'll get 10 percent off if you use one of their affiliate codes. With a price like that, you'll want to buy more than one bottle at a time. Trust me, you're going to love it.
I'm not the only one who's obsessed with this spray, either. Jaclyn Hill actually talked about the Morphe product in her most recent favorites video. So if you don't believe me, you can trust the beauty guru herself.
Whether you're looking for a new setting spray or not, this is one product that deserves a try. This one will be sitting top-shelf on my makeup table all summer long. Between the price, smell, and application, there's no reason not to try it.
