If you're a Real Housewives of Atlanta and Don't Be Tardy fan, then you know that Kim Zolciak is married to NFL player Kroy Biermann. That means, you just might be wondering if Kroy Biermann still plays for the Atlanta Falcons. The answer is no, he does not.

For eight seasons Biermann was with the Falcons, but in August 2016 Biermann announced he had signed with the Buffalo Bills after the Falcons chose not to resign him. "So excited to become part of the Buffalo Bills family we can already feel the amazing energy," he tweeted.

That same month, NFL.com reported that the Bills' contract with the Bravo star was a one-year deal. However, the deal didn't last long and in September of that year, the Bills released Biermann. As reported on the official Bills website, the team reduced its roster to the required 53 players, which unfortunately didn't include Biermann.

Soon after his release from the Bills, it was announced that the 31-year-old would now be a free agent. Zolciak spoke to Bravo's The Daily Dish in September 2016 and said about her husband's football career, "He's just trying to figure out what's a good fit for him and what's most important to him is he wants to play." She added, "He's a really, really hard worker. The NFL is definitely — it's interesting. It's tough."

He currently isn't playing football, but that doesn't mean Biermann isn't busy. He and Zolciak are the parents to six children, which is a job in itself. Being a dad is something Biermann loves. He told The Daily Dish in October 2016, "This year was the first year the boys started school, so it's been exciting to be around that with them and take them to school and pick them up and see the excitement in their eyes and do their homework with them. Had I been somewhere else, I would have missed out on a lot of that stuff."

Transitioning to a stay-at-home dad is something he's given thought about, as well. "I love my family and I feel like it's second nature to me to be a father and a husband," he told Bravo. "I joke with Kim sometimes I should be a stay-at-home dad. I love it that much."

Though, that doesn't mean he has given up on football completely. "I met with some teams earlier on," Biermann said. "Most recently a lot of it's been through the phone, but I do want things to be on my terms per se." He added, "I want it to be a good ending, so we'll see. It may end up this season. It may not, it may be next season. There's no definitive answers to where this thing will end up, but it's definitely been a fun journey."

As for whether or not he would go into coaching, he isn't entirely sure. "It is a major dedication to be a coach at that level, so I would definitely enjoy it," he admitted. "But, I don't know if I could spend that much time away from my family."

Even though he is no longer with the Falcons, he is still rooting for them now that they are in the 2017 Super Bowl against the New England Patriots. As you can see above, after they scored a championship spot, Biermann tweeted, "Congrats 2 the players, coaches, Arthur, and the staff of Falcons!! I know the work u all put n and its much deserved. Keep kicking ass!!"

He may not be on the field with them as a player, but Biermann is clearly still a huge fan.
