'Riverhead' Fans Are Already Shipping Two Stars

When a pair of acting twins are introduced in Hollywood, audiences are used to seeing them do everything together. They dress alike. They say words in unison. They even start dating around the same time. The schtick never gets old — unless you're one of the twins involved, like Dylan and Cole Sprouse. It seems that Cole Sprouse is currently single — both personally and professionally.

The 24-year-old is flying solo on the new CW show Riverdale as Jughead Jones, although fans wish that wasn't the case. Riverdale lovers are shipping Sprouse and his costar Lili Reinhart just as much as they're shipping Jughead and Reinhart's character, Betty. But by all appearances they are just friends. It seems like Sprouse is single. That, or very secretive. (Bustle has reached out to Sprouse and Reinhart's reps for comment on their dating lives, but has not yet received a response.)

As further evidence, in a cheeky Valentine's Day tweet, Sprouse posted, "McDonald's valentines menu sucks tbh. Looks like my cats and I will take our business elsewhere." Ah, cats, the telltale sign of singledom.

For now, it seems that the NYU alum is completely focused on his career. He told The Last Magazine that he waited for the right role before recommitting himself to acting full-time. "I didn't really think of it, but it felt fulfilling again, which is really the only thing you should honestly pursue in art," Sprouse told the publication. "And as long as it feels fulfilling, I'll continue."

Perhaps if Sprouse gets into a relationship he'll talk about it in another joke on Twitter, but for now, you can catch him Thursdays on next episode of Riverdale.
