Here’s How Long You Have To Try Out Starbucks’ New Holiday Drink

On Nov. 1, Starbucks rolled out their 2017 holiday cups, and since then, I can only assume that your morning coffee run has gotten a lot more festive. It's easier to roll out of bed and get on your commute grind (even in the cold) knowing that you're just moments away from clutching a little piece of holiday cheer in your mittened hands. The Buxs' holiday cups are a symbol of this special season just like a decorated tree or a tin of your grandma's famous sugar cookies, and you get to carry them with you (practically) wherever you go. How jolly is that? Your coffee vibes are about to get even jollier, though, because Sbux is introducing a new seasonal drink. I'm sure you're just dying to know how long the Starbucks Toasted White Chocolate Mocha is going to be available so you can take full advantage of enjoying it while you can.

The newest addition to the coffee giant's collection of warm and fuzzy holiday beverages, the Toasted White Chocolate Mocha will debut across North American on Nov. 9. You'll be able to grab one at your favorite Bux location throughout the holiday season — at least, while supplies last. Given how delicious this drink looks, it's hard to say whether or not said supplies will last at all, so I'd strongly recommend you zipping up that new puffer coat, throwing on an extra pair of socks, and hitting the streets on a mission for Mocha. Cuddling up on the couch might keep you out of the cold, but it's certainly not going to get you any closer to the feel-good beverage of your dreams. And yes, I am suggesting that this is the feel-good beverage of your dreams.

As the name quite obviously suggests, the Toasted White Chocolate Mocha is a new take on the more traditional White Chocolate Mocha. The toasted version features a more caramelized white chocolate flavor, one that will make you wonder why you've never considered sitting by a campfire roasting marshmallows in the wintertime (and if you have already done that, you're a step ahead of me). The new drink also takes the traditional topping to the next level: While the classic White Chocolate Mocha is topped with simple whipped cream, the Toasted White Chocolate Mocha is also finished with a candied cranberry sugar on top for both added color and flavor. If the sweet, smoky taste of this drink isn't enough to get you feeling festive, I think the pop of red on top will probably do the trick.

For those of you lucky enough to live in areas that don't experience plummeting temperatures come November — or for those of you who just really love an iced drink at any time of the year — the Bux is offering a cold version too. It looks so beautiful that I can't help but wonder why I can't carry it as an accessory outside of the holiday season. Check out the close-up of that candied cranberry sugar! I didn't even know it existed until today, and now I feel confident that I absolutely need it in my life.

Sometimes, the holidays can feel overwhelming, and I personally wonder how I can possibly keep up with all of the must-dos and must-haves and must-sees. I'm more than willing, however, to go out of my way to add this new Starbucks beverage to my seasonal routine. Starting Nov. 9, I fully intend to make the Toasted White Chocolate Mocha the signature drink of my personal holiday season, and if you have any interest in doing the same thing, you should probably go pick one up... now.
