How Long Are Starbucks' New Frappuccinos Available?

Starbucks

This summer, even Starbucks wants to embrace the warm, fun colors of the season. First, we saw this with the pink drink, then the ombrè pink drink, and the violet drink during Starbucks' cups of kindness collaboration with Lady Gaga's Born This Way Foundation— and now, Starbucks is taking it two steps further with the introduction of their colorful Berry Prickly Pear Frappuccino and the Mango Pineapple Frappuccino. Bursting with succulent fruit flavor, these frappuccinos are the perfect way to embrace the better weather. But, if you're a Starbucks aficionado like me, you might be wondering — how long are the Berry Prickly Pear Frappuccino and the Mango Pineapple Frappuccino available? Well, I have good and bad news.

The good news: Beginning Jun. 20, these frappuccinos can be purchased in all Starbucks locations throughout the United States and Canada. Unfortunately — and here's the bad news — there's no word of these drinks being made a permanent menu item like the drinks introduced for Cups of Kindness. Instead, these frappuccinos will be here throughout the summer only while supplies last.

What can you expect from Starbucks' new frappuccinos? The Berry Prickly Pear Frappuccino Crème is created by first pouring Mango Crème Frappuccino over a strawberry and prickly pear fruit puree. The puree also includes subtle hints of hibiscus, passionfruit and lime. After that, a layer of berry prickly pear fruit puree is added on top to finish the drink.

Similarly, the Mango Pineapple Frappuccino Crème is made by layering different fruits: Mango Crème Frappuccino is once again poured into the drink but, this time, on top of a mango pineapple fruit puree. The puree features the flavors of juicy mango, pineapple and a little lime. Then, to increase flavor, another layer of mango pineapple fruit puree is added to complete the drink. So if you really love mango, this is definitely the drink for you.

Interested in trying one or — let's be honest — both of the drinks, hurry to your local Starbucks now. From looks alone, these frappuccinos are sure to sell out.
