Gigi Hadid's Met Gala Dress Was Perfect For The Night's Avante Garde Theme

You probably remember Gigi Hadid's Met Gala look from last year. She and boyfriend Zayn Malik did the 2016 "Manus x Machina" theme justice by walking the red carpet in some pretty intense metallics. Hadid wore a gorgeous shining silver dress with a sheer bottom, and Malik rocked a golden robot arm. (As you do.)

This year, the supermodel arrived solo. But really, who needs a date when you're tearing the house down in Tommy Hilfiger? In sticking with the night's avante garde theme, Hadid walked the red carpet in a structural gown that was all at once modern, chic, and quirky AF. On the left side it was off-the-shoulder and super sexy. On the right side, the dress featured a sleeve with patchwork detailing. Her look was tied together (literally) with a nude cummerbund before cascading beautifully into tulle. Really, the dress is a nude/pink/mauve dream.

What really made the look, though, was Hadid's hair and makeup. If you're a fan of '90s cool, then take a look at her thick eyeliner, brown lip, and messy updo. Take a look at the look below and see if you don't agree she is the coolest.
