Dave Coulier Drops A Big 'Fuller House' Hint
Fans of Fuller House will be excited to hear that not only is there going to be a third season of the hit nostalgic reboot, but the third installment is going to be much longer than the past two have been. Actor Dave Coulier, known fondly by fans as Uncle Joey, tells Bustle that Fuller House Season 3 will have 18 episodes.
Fans are going to get a whole five extra episodes than they have previously been used to. Seasons 1 and 2 have both topped out at 13 episodes each. Coulier recently did a Facebook Live interview with Bustle while he was raising awareness for Box Tops for Education, and he confirmed that the stars will be shooting Fuller House Season 3 starting in March going through August and that it is going to be a big 18-episode run. Most Netflix series run about 8-13 episodes, so 18 is quite a lot for the network. I think that fans can look forward to a lot of story to be spread out over that period of time next season.
With all that extra time to explore the characters and plots in Season 3, here's what Full House fans like myself would love to see.
Even More Great Catchphrases
Yes, it is super fun to have some of the original lines that we all know and love back in action. Who doesn't love Uncle Joey's "Cut . It. Out." But, maybe with all of this extra time in Season 3, the actors could work some new catchphrases into the mix. That way, when they reboot this show in another 20 years, there will be even more old lines to call back to.
The Olsen Twins
Yeah, I know it's a long shot. The Olsens skipped the first two seasons, but with the spinoff standing the test of time, perhaps Michelle will finally show up in Season 3. A fan can dream.
Touch Upon Politics
Fuller House is definitely trying to show a slightly edgier side than the original did. Why not jump into the political arena? There's a lot going on right now in our country, and I would like to know what the Tanners think about it all.
Will Stephanie Make It Big?
Stephanie is a traveling DJ and burgeoning singer now. Will Season 3 be when she makes it as big as Jesse and the Rippers did? (Or bigger, Steph should aim to go bigger.)
Make sure you tune in to see how it all shakes out when the extended Season 3 of Fuller House debuts on Netflix in the near future.
