Rihanna's Cosmetics Brand Is Seeking A Global MUA
Do you have what it takes to be the global makeup artist for Rihanna's makeup line, Fenty Beauty? If the mere thought of that question has you shining bright like a diamond, then it's time to submit your work, work, work, work, work and see for yourself.
According to the submission site, Kendo Holdings, Inc., the same big beauty brand developer behind Kat Von D, Bite, and Marc Jacobs Beauty, is leading an unconventional and groundbreaking search to find talent to represent its newest prized possession, Fenty Beauty, which is set to launch in fall 2017.
Kendo is holding three days of auditions: Feb. 24 in New York City at the Hotel on Rivington, Feb. 26 in Dallas at the W Dallas Victory Hotel, and Feb. 28 in Los Angeles at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel.
To audition, you have to book a slot here. On the day of, you must bring your resume, online application, headshot, and three portfolio images. Just like its founder, Fenty Beauty is bound to be bold, groundbreaking, and celebratory of diverse beauty, so slate your submissions according.
The Global Makeup Artist for Fenty Beauty by Rihanna will be expected to represent the brand at a wide variety of events all around the globe, develop brand artistry training and application techniques for master classes, videos, and other widely viewed outlets, and will be required to travel up to 80% of the time. According to the submission site, they are looking for an applicant with preferably 10 or more years of professional beauty background, proven experience working onset, strong presentation skills, and incomparable passion for all things makeup.
According to a blurb posted by James Vincent (the amazing makeup artist partnering with Fenty Beauty to spearhead the search), those who make it through the first round of interviews will be invited back for a second round at a TBD date, and the finalists will even have a chance to apply makeup on Rihanna herself.
