The brand is known for their affordable makeup, but this release goes above and beyond. Essence Cosmetics created Contouring Eyeshadow Sets to help you create a simple but stunning eye look. Believe my when I say that this is the most affordable way to try this look.

Odds are you've been trying your hand at the contouring trend for a while now. I don't know about you, but, as hard as I try, I'm still not the best at sculpting my face using contour and highlight. Thankfully, this take on the look is a whole lot easier. Essence Cosmetics' Contouring Eyeshadow has two different shades — a highlight and a contour — so you can sculpt your eye with ease. The contour goes around the outside of the eye, while to highlight is for a pop of shine in the middle.

Of course, the eye contouring trend isn't completely new. Kat Von D Beauty was an early adopter with the Shade + Light Eyeshadow Quads and all-matte eye palette that quickly became a fan favorite. The mini-palettes come in four different shades, similar to how a face contour set would be sold. The colors range from ashy grey to deeper shades, so there's something for a variety of skin tones. The highlight shades have a little bit of shimmer to it, so you get a neutral but stunning eye look.

The only downside to the launch is that there is only one place to shop the products. Unlike many of the other Essence Cosmetics items, which are available in drugstore, this launch is only available on the brand's website. You won't find them anywhere else.
