Looks like casting secrets are starting to spill ahead of the March 1 reveal, because word dropped on Friday that Erika Girardi, better known to Real Housewives fans as Erika Jayne, is joining Dancing with the Stars for its upcoming season. Of course, it's all unconfirmed, but, if the rumors are true, it's going to be the best season yet already.
According to E! News, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star will, in fact, be strutting her stuff on the dance floor for Season 24 of the ABC dance competition. And if you're a fan of RHOBH, then I don't have to tell you that the reality star is going to be more than an entertaining fit for the show. All we can do is hope and pray that she'll be bringing her pop star alter-ego, Erika Jayne, onto the scene to "pat the puss," and, if she does, you guys, it's going to be epic. Epic, I tell you. She's like a two-for-one extravaganza, I kid you not.
Kudos to DTWS for casting Erika in the first place. It's most certainly a genius move, because there's no doubt that fans of the hit Bravo series will be tuning in to catch a glimpse of the "How Many F*cks" singer's run on the show. However, the big rumor comes just days ahead of the scheduled unveiling of competitors, which doesn't officially take place until next month during a special segment of Good Morning America. So don't get too excited just yet.
In addition to Erika, gold medalist Simone Biles, actor Mr. T, Olympic figure skater Nancy Kerrigan, and comedian Chris Kattan have all been on the list of those rumored to compete. There are also whispers that a secret member of Fifth Harmony will be joining the cast, so this season sounds like one you, for sure, won't wanna miss.
Upon her reported arrival to the competition, the 45-year-old entertainer would join the growing list of Housewives that have been on the television series. Erika's RHOBH co-star Lisa Vanderpump, as well as Real Housewives of Atlanta stars NeNe Leakes and Kim Zolciak have all fox-trotted their way onto our primetime TV screens in the past. If Erika is indeed the next one to do it, well, you can count me in.
