Erika Jayne is an entertainer and a reality television show vet, so she knows how to keep an audience interested. On Dancing With The Stars, Erika is paired with Gleb Savchenko, and on Week 2 of Dancing With The Stars, viewers got some insight on the connection between the new dancing couple. Erika Jayne and Gleb definitely have a playful relationship on Dancing With The Stars, and this banter translates into their dancing.
In the pre-dance segment, viewers got to see Erika and Gleb in rehearsals, and the Erika Jayne we see on Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills is, well, the Erika Jayne that we’re seeing on Dancing With The Stars. It’s not that I thought that her persona would change just because the show changed, but I guess I thought we would see a more serious side of Erika Jayne because the competition is so fierce. It’s still early, though, and Erika and Gleb joked around a lot, with Gleb trying to deal with the force of nature that is Erika Jayne. I think he’s harnessing her power for good, though, because their foxtrot was so beautiful and so different from the dance they did to kick off the show in Week One.
Erika Jayne may be a reality television bombshell, but I think that Dancing With The Stars viewers will do themselves a disservice to not take her seriously. I mean, she’s a performer! She has her own hit records! She performs on the tops of buildings in Greece! Erika Jayne can really dance, and I think if she harnesses that dance pop power, she’ll be at the top of the leaderboard and in contention for the Mirrorball trophy very, very soon. Look out, Simone Biles!
