In December 2016, the shocking news broke that Debbie Reynolds passed away only one day after her daughter, Carrie Fisher. While the mother and daughter had their ups and downs over the years, they clearly had a tight bond towards the end of their lives, so it only makes sense that they've been memorialized together with a shared burial site. Fisher and Reynolds' headstone was recently unveiled, and the structure is a lovely way to honor the two women.

Fisher and Reynolds were both buried at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Hollywood. A couple of months after their funeral, a public memorial was held at the cemetery that gave fans a chance to pay their respects to the duo and celebrate their lives. Now, their headstone has been revealed, and while it's extravagant, it's also appropriate considering the that the two passed away so close together, and the fact that it can now be a landmark for fans who want to mourn them.

The headstone includes Fisher and Reynolds names and their birth and death dates in front of a pink marble backdrop. There is also a statue of two women embracing each other.

As reported by Today, Fisher was cremated and had some of her ashes placed in a Prozac pill-shaped urn that was laid next to her mother. The urn really spoke to Fisher's sense of humor, and the fact that this lavish marble headstone holds within it a Prozac pill urn only emphasizes the morbid humor.

The way Fisher and Reynolds were honored — from the urn to the public memorial to the headstone — seems perfect for them, and I'm sure their fans will be visiting the memorial site for years to come.
