Corinne Has Big 'Bachelorette' News

There's only a little over a month to go before The Bachelorette kicks off another season, and now, there's one more reason to get excited for when Rachel Lindsay steps up to the plate. This week, Corinne Olympios revealed she filmed an episode of The Bachelorette, and although she didn't share any details, there's no way her appearance won't be epic. And don't worry — she also took the opportunity to gush over how much she loves Rachel, too.

The announcement came while Corinne was doing an interview with Sirius XM Hits 1. When she was asked about her thoughts on the upcoming Bachelorette season, she let it slip that she'll be a part of it. No word on whether Raquel and/or her famous cheese pasta will be present, but Corinne's presence will be present enough.

She did say that she had the chance to meet some of the guys from Rachel's season, and she mentioned that they are very good looking — duh, they always are! And interestingly enough, she also added that she thinks the diversity of the contestant pool didn't change just because Rachel is the first black Bachelorette; although we'll have to wait and see if that actually ends up being the case. Judging from the guys we've gotten to see so far, it does look like the cast is pretty diverse. And if the cast isn't more diverse than usual, it may have more to do with what Rachel told the show she was interested in.

Unsurprisingly, Corinne had nothing but nice things to say about Rachel, which is a relief, because she seemed like such an awesome person on The Bachelor. As Corinne tells it, Rachel's nervous about breaking new ground on the show just because of her race, but she doesn't seem to doubt her ability to pull it off in the least.

Corinne said:

"Of course she's nervous. It's only natural that she would be nervous. I'd be nervous. But she's just so endearing and bubbly and inviting that I don't think people will pay attention to it."

If it's possible, I'm now even more ready for The Bachelorette's May 22 premiere — to see Corinne again and to watch Rachel in action. With everyone's favorite napper involved, you know it's going to be entertaining.
