Bustle's Most Wanted: Neutrogena Hydro Boost Hydrating Tint
When I close my eyes and picture my perfect base makeup, I imagine something lightweight and hydrating, with enough coverage to tone down the redness in my cheeks and make my bronzer pop, but not so much that it looks flat and caked on. Oh, and maybe it has some skin care benefits, too. Sounds too good to be true, right? I definitely thought so, until the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Hydrating Tint hit my desk.

As much as I love makeup, I can't stand the heavy feeling that many foundations leave on my face. I'm forever searching for something that will give me some coverage without announcing itself to the world. In short, I want face makeup that looks like my skin, only better. I think I've finally found my perfect match with the Hydrating Tint, which launched in Feb. 2017 and has already changed my morning routine for the better.
The Hydrating Tint is a new addition to Neutrogena's ever expanding Hydro Boost line, which boasts hyaluronic acid as the hero ingredient in everything from K-beauty-inspired water gel moisturizer to concealer. That means the Hydrating Tint, available in 10 shades, also plumps and hydrates the skin while providing a smooth canvas for the rest of your makeup. It's not quite enough to replace your morning moisturizer, but it's a nice extra boost of hydration that I've found especially useful on cold winter days.
This product also wins major points for its easy application process. A giant doe-foot applicator allows you to quickly dispense as much (or as little) of the tint as you want on your face, and to target certain areas more heavily than others. Just blend out with your fingers (who has time to wet a makeup sponge before work, anyway?) and you're good to go.
