Blac Chyna Will Seek A Restraining Order Against Rob Kardashian
As TMZ reports and her lawyer confirms on Twitter, Blac Chyna will seek a restraining order against Rob Kardashian. Lawyer Lisa Bloom, who has previously represented Mischa Barton in her case involving alleged revenge porn and Kathy Griffin following the release of her controversial Donald Trump photograph, tweeted on Friday, "I represent Blac Chyna. I just gave Rob Kardashian notice that we'll be in court Monday seeking restraining orders against him. More to come." Bustle has reached out to Kardashian and to a rep for Chyna for comment, but did not receive a response at the time of publication.
UPDATE: Kardashian's lawyer told TMZ in a statement that Kardashian's actions were a "spontaneous reaction that he regrets" and that they will not be contesting the restraining order. "Rob's only concern is for the well-being of baby Dream," the statement finished.
EARLIER: Before tweeting that she was representing Chyna, Bloom had tweeted about the situation involving Kardashian and Chyna that began on Wednesday when Kardashian posted on Instagram a number of allegations about Chyna —including that she allegedly does drugs and cheated on him multiple times —as well as nude photos he claimed were of his ex-fiancée. At that time, Chyna posted on Snapchat and soon deleted claims that Kardashian had abused her. Bustle reached out to reps for both Kardashian and Chyna regarding their claims about each other, but did not receive a response.
Bloom tweeted on Thursday, June 6, "My take: what Rob Kardashian did to Blac Chyna could be ‘revenge porn,’ and illegal. Women, stand up for our rights!" along with a link to a Washington Post article about the controversy. She also posted a tweet pointing out how over the past few months she had been in court with Barton battling revenge porn.
TMZ reports that a restraining order could prohibit Kardashian from harassing or bothering Chyna, and could require him to keep 100 yards away from her. Bloom has not yet confirmed details of the type of order they are seeking. TMZ also reports that Bloom tells them that she believes the issue is bigger than Kardashian and Chyna and is a women's rights issue.
