It's the moment Queen Bey fans have been waiting for. Blue Ivy is officially a big sister. Beyoncé reportedly gave birth to twins earlier in the week, according to Us Weekly. Can you believe Beyoncé and Jay Z now have two more children in the world? This truly is a joyous occasion. Bustle reached out to reps for Beyoncé and Jay Z for comment, but did not receive an immediate response.
In February, Beyoncé announced that she and Jay Z were expecting not one, but two babies. She made the reveal on Instagram and of course did so in the most magnificent way possible. The extremely talented singer shared a stunning photo of herself wearing a bra and underwear, a veil covering her face, gorgeous flowers towering behind her, and her baby bump on full display. Next to the image, she wrote, "We would like to share our love and happiness. We have been blessed two times over. We are incredibly grateful that our family will be growing by two, and we thank you for your well wishes. - The Carters."
That wasn't the only photo she took to announce her second pregnancy. The Lemonade artist participated in an elaborate photoshoot. By elaborate, I mean Bey posed on top of a car, swam underwater, and also included her daughter, Blue Ivy, in the session. Leave it to the music queen to celebrate her pregnancy this way.
Now that she and Jay Z are parents to two more kids, I have a feeling fans can expect even more captivating photos of the family of five.
