There's never, ever a wrong time to wear an LBD. A little black dress can be, well, dressed up or down based on the occasion and due to presentation. A floor-skimming LBD is fancy, while a shorter frock is hawt AF. The Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay rocked an LBD at the 2017 Billboard Music Awards and she absolutely crushed it.
The BBMAs are a much less casual affair than the Grammys, which allows the nominees, presenters, performers, and celeb attendees to show off their edgy sides, as opposed to their super dressy sides. Lindsay's sizzling side was on full display with her strappy, slinky, and sleeveless LBD.
Since most of the celebs were incredibly vocal during their red carpet interviews about the fact that it was just under 100 degrees in Las Vegas, which is where to 2017 BBMAs took place, Lindsay's LBD was not merely a sexy choice. It was also a smart one. The short herm and sleeve-free construction were perfect elements to help beat dat heat.
She finished off her ensemble with strappy black heels, which are a classic that never goes out of style... just like her LBD.
Lindsay wore her long, black locks in voluminous waves that were center-parted and framed her face.

Lindsay's slip dress wasn't flashy. It was, however, totally appropriate for the evening's temperature and vibe. She didn't need a ton of accessories or additions.
