'The Bachelor's Nick & Vanessa Are Rumored To Be Breaking Up Again

After each Bachelor or Bachelorette season, keeping a close eye on the final couple is like second nature. And Bachelor Season 21 couple Nick Viall and Vanessa Grimaldi never exactly left the public's eye — you know, what with Nick being a contestant on Dancing With The Stars and everything. Well, as it turns out, the presumably happy couple are making new headlines, and it has nothing to do with Nick's dance moves. Us Weekly reports that Nick and Vanessa might be breaking up, because the two didn't look too cozy while exiting a recent flight from Mexico. But... are they? Haven't we heard this rumor before?

The rumor goes a little something like this: after attending the wedding of friends Evan Bass and Carly Waddell in Puerto Vallarta, the couple reportedly didn't seem deeply in love on a flight back home to LA. In fact, according to a fellow passenger tell it, and they allegedly "looked miserable." An unnamed witness claimed to US Weekly that Nick and Vanessa "didn’t exchange five words the entire flight" and that, once everyone debarked, "Nick grabbed his bag and ran ahead of Vanessa." The source later alleged that the two "really don’t seem to like each other" at all during their travels.

If any of that is true, it sounds to me like it could've just been the remnants of a private argument flowing over to a more public setting rather than an actual cause for concern. According to a statement from Nick's rep about the rumor, he and Vanessa "are still very much together," but, of course, that doesn't stop the naysayers from engaging in their Nick and Vanessa hate. And it certainly doesn't stop #BachelorNation from having its doubts that the couple won't make it much longer.

It's no secret that Nick and Vanessa have had their share of obstacles to get over since their season aired. They've had their authenticity challenged by fans and Bachelor Season 21 contestant Corrine Olympios and faced so many rumors of trouble in paradise; everything they do is being watched closely. And this latest rumor only adds fuel to the already brewing speculation of their potential for a disastrous end. But, honestly, all people ever do is talk.
