Kylie Cosmetics' Blushes Are Indeed Matte

by Amy Sciarretto

The Royal Peach Palette. Kylighters. Velvet Lip Kits. It's been an insanely busy year for new launches over at Kylie Cosmetics. While the Kylighters and Velvets only dropped in the past few weeks, the brand is already introducing the next big thing in its repertoire. Kylie Cosmetics Pressed Powder Blushes arrive on Friday, Mar. 24 at 6 p.m. ET/3 p.m. PT. There are five shades, ranging from peach to pink to orange to red, and they will cruise onto the brand's site, which is its sales platform, just in time for spring. The packaging and product shots, which were shared on Instagram, show the Kylie Cosmetics brushes to be bright and pigmented, with the co.'s signature dripping graphic stamped into the product itself. So, are the Kylie Cosmetics Pressed Powder Blushes matte?

Yes, they are, per several Instagram posts. The fact that the Kylie Cosmetics blushes are matte should surprise no one, since matte is the brand's signature texture. Remember, Kylie Jenner launched her entire beauty empire with her super matte Lip Kits.

On her personal Instagram, Jenner beamed with pride over her latest creation, while also confirming that the blushes are buildable. So you can do a subtle veil of color or you can go full on with an adventurous pop of color.

It was only a matter of time before Kylie Cosmetics welcomed blushes into its orbit.

Matte and all that!

The names are all naughty and romantic. The colors, though? Those are straight fire. I am already imagining what it must be like to dip a fluffy brush into these pans.

Look! Two pieces of trivia related to the X Rated blush. It was in the Valentine's Day palette and it's one of Jenner's faves.

Buildable matte beauties — you got that? Well, you will be able to get that later this week.
