7 Galentine's Day 2017 Party Ideas
I think it's pretty safe to say that 2017 is kind of a trainwreck – and it's only February. But the second month of the year brings us a holiday that's all about spreading love, which is exactly what we need right now. No, I'm not talking about Valentine's Day. I'm talking about Galentine's Day, Feb. 13, aka the best day of the year according to Parks And Recreation's Leslie Knope. The holiday falls on February 13 and it's about celebrating all the great women in your life.
This year, my roommates and I are throwing a Galentine's Day party for us and all of our female friends. The only problem is we haven't figured out exactly how we want to celebrate. One of my friends suggested a chill night of sipping wine, while I advocated for going out to our favorite bar. (We're second semester seniors in college and the days of being able to convince an entire group of people to go out on a Monday are numbered). I swiftly changed my mind when I realized I'd miss The Bachelor though. But no matter which route we decide to take, I know it'll be a day well spent with my favorite women.
