33 'Game Of Thrones' Characters Who Look Totally Different In Real Life

The list of Game of Thrones characters is ever-changing, but there has been one constant over six seasons — that cast looks good. It's truly too bad that Game of Thrones isn't more like Gossip Girl, where every episode ended with a black tie event or a hip party that showed off the cast. Believe it or not, when you take away the grime, blood, and muck of Westeros and the Game of Thrones cast looks totally different in real life.
Sure, we're all familiar with Kit Harington's "civilian" appearance at this point. That poor guy couldn't go anywhere for a year without being spotted and photographed. It's not his fault that every shave or man bun could hold the secret to Jon Snow's future. However, not every cast member has to maintain their character's looks in the off season. Plenty of actors use wigs and prosthetics to get into character. Some of your Game of Thrones favorites might be totally unrecognizable once they take the show makeup off.
Let's take a moment and check in with the current cast of Game of Thrones and what they look like out in the real world. Would you know the Starks from the Greyjoys if you saw them walking down the sidewalk?
1. Tyrion Lannister

Emilia Clarke
The wig does a lot of the work on Game of Thrones. Unlike Kit Harrington, Emilia Clarke can do whatever she wants with her (amazing) hair IRL.

I, for one, can't wait for Cersei's choppy "shame, shame, shame" haircut to grow back out.

IRL, the actress could not look more different.
