It feels unoriginal to admit this, but I relate to every Target meme I've ever seen. The store is seriously dangerous for my wallet — I have three stores within 10 minutes of my apartment, and I visit at least once a week to walk the aisles and see what's new. The last time I went to a Target store, I didn't get a cart in the hopes that it'd stop me from buying anything I didn't need. No luck. I just balanced all of my purchases in my hands, which was seriously an impressive feat. Even if you don't love the store as much as I do, Target is filled with home decor items you won't be able to resist buying. Every time I wander into the home section, I leave with something.
Why is it impossible to resist Target's home items? I don't have a scientific answer, but I think I secretly hope that every Target purchase gets my apartment one step closer to looking like an Instagram-ready dream home. Granted, my sink is often filled with dirty dishes and I don't vacuum nearly enough, but buying decorative knick-knacks makes me feel like I have my life together. It may be a tiny bit of an illusion, but it's one that works for me. If you can relate, I've found some home decor items that are seriously irresistible.
