19 Delicious Super Bowl Dessert Ideas

by Kiersten Hickman

In my opinion, it’s not a party unless you have dessert. Actually … I think it’s pretty much a tragedy. Some people love to grab champagne when they celebrate, but me? No, no, give me a huge pan of brownies or a tub of ice cream to celebrate. Or to enjoy when I’m wallowing. Which is why you desperately need some Super Bowl dessert ideas for this upcoming weekend — for moments of celebration, and moments of pure disaster. Or to still eat when you’re indifferent on who should win or lose. No matter how you feel, dessert will always be there.

As I write this, I’m thinking, OK, people are going to think I’m crazy, but be honest with yourself — when you go to a Super Bowl party, what is one of the first things you like to do? Because for me, it’s see the dessert options for later. Which is why having the perfect desserts for a party is so key to impressing a person like me. Because, let’s get real, I’m not the only one who does this.

I picked a variety of easy finger food desserts, as well as a beautiful looking Charlotte Cake in case you’re feeling ambitious. There’s an easy cookie recipe, a few magic bars that seriously look like magic, chocolate truffles, rice krispie treats, cookie sandwiches, and even some macarons and bite size apple pies. So whether you enjoy fruit or chocolate for dessert (or even both) here’s a few dessert ideas for your party that would even impress me.
