17 Tweets That Sum Up This Week's 'Bachelor'
I cannot believe that already, there are only four women left on Nick Viall's season of The Bachelor. As has been the trend for the past few weeks, he was all about eliminating the ladies before the rose ceremony in the Feb. 13 episode. Danielle M. went home straight from the one-on-one date and my girl Kristina got her heartbroken back at the house. Needless to say, Bachelor Nation fans had a lot to say during the show and there are many tweets about Week 7 of The Bachelor that perfectly respond to the episode's key moments.
Tensions were running high with every contestant as Nick whittled the field down to the final four. Corinne was as hilarious as ever, in my opinion at least. Vanessa and Nick had fire chemistry on their one-on-one date. Raven held her own while Kristina and Corinne ended up sulking on the group date. And I found myself still rooting for Rachel even though we all knew she was going to be announced as the next star of The Bachelorette just a few hours later.
Of course, we can't forget about Nick having a breakdown over whether or not he should continue on with the show (even though we've already seen him preparing to propose in trailers). Suffice it to say that it was an eventful episode of The Bachelor, and these tweets sum up its most important and funniest moments.
1. When Nick Contemplated Quitting
A fellow Bachelor is the perfect person to point out the logistics behind the series that make quitting unlikely, to say the least.
2. When Corinne Questioned Vanessa's Depth
I live for Corinne, but she was definitely in the wrong for questioning Vanessa's depth after listing all of her indisputably amazing traits.
3. When Nick Wore The Shortest Shorts Of All Time
Even Nick himself had to mock that fashion decision.
4. When Vanessa Said She's Never Been On A Boat
Maybe she meant this specific boat?
5. When Vanessa Told Nick She Loved Him
The connection between Nick and Vanessa is undeniable, but that's just not how this show goes. You're not supposed to say "I love you too" until the end. Well, unless you're Ben Higgins.
6. When Raven Brought Much-Needed Humor To The Group Date
Raven is one of the most-entertaining contestants this year. You never know what she's going to say next.
7. When They Swam With Sharks & You Wished It Was The The Shark/Dolphin Instead
Yes, I put my own tweet in here, but I know I'm not the only one who feels like Alexis was really made for these aquatic dates. It's a shame she didn't make it to the swimming with sharks date.
8. When Nick Asked Raven If She Calls Her Dad "Daddy"
He did this on Rachel's one-on-one back in NOLA too. Please, Nick, let's stop this at two conversations and never speak of it again.
9. When Corinne Was Eating Cheese Back At The Hotel
That was the most relatable moment of the episode. We are all Corinne... in that moment at least.
10. When Danielle Had Her One-On-One
From what we saw, Danielle M was not bringing the energy, but hey, maybe she just needed a nap.
11. When Nick Offered To Walk Danielle Out After Eliminating Her
This is always so awkward. I would not want someone who just broke up with me anywhere near me, let alone holding my hand and walking me out the door... especially as I'm en route back to the hotel room to back up my belongings and cry in front of his other girlfriends.
12. When Corinne Said Her "Vagine Is Platinum"
We all knew this moment was coming since it was in every trailer for this season, but finally seeing it play out was epic.
13. When Corinne Avoided The Automated Door After Leaving Nick's Hotel Room
I don't know why Corinne didn't just go through the door that was already open, but I'm glad she skipped it because that moment was hilarious.
14. When Nick Pulled Kristina Aside To Talk
I am still totally shocked by this. They just had the most amazing one-on-one and they were ALL OVER each other on the group date. And now Nick is making her cry? No one watching could handle this one and I just wanted to hug Kristina.
15. When Nick Sent Kristina Home
After their amazing one-on-one last week and their scene-stealing chemistry on the group date this week, it was beyond shocking when Nick said goodbye to Kristina.
16. When You Realized That Corinne Gets A Hometown Date
After a full season of hype, we are all hoping that Raquel gets a lot of screen time next week.
17. When Rachel Was Announced As The Bachelorette... Before She Was Eliminated
Umm, spoiler alert?
The Bachelor is only getting more dramatic as the weeks go on, so I'm very thankful that Twitter is here to keep us all united as we approach the end of Nick's surprise-filled season.
