13 St. Patrick's Day Cocktail Ideas
For those of legal drinking age, St. Patrick's Day and booze kind of go together like peanut butter and jelly — it's sort of a must. However, what isn't a requirement is getting sloshed at a bar and having a terrible time. So instead of going out on St. Patrick's Day, why not scroll through these St. Patrick's Day cocktail ideas and make a few of these drinks with your friends at home?
Firstly, I'm not the biggest fan of getting completely hammered on St. Patrick's Day. I did that once during college, and honestly, I hated every second of it. I felt absolutely awful the next day and couldn't ever imagine trying something like that again (and unlike many others, I am the oddball and decided to take that super seriously). So making some cocktails at home and thinking of a fun drinking game while watching Luck of the Irish with some of my girlfriends sounds way more appealing.
Plus, I'm sure I don't even have to get into how much that trip out to the bars is going to cost you on that shamrock filled day. Yes, those green beers look super fun, but after a few of them, your wallet is going to start hating you. So why not make a few boozy shamrock shakes at home instead?
If this sounds appealing to you as it does for me, then here's 13 different cocktails you can throw together this St. Patty's Day.
