Thanks to some encouragement from Jenny Han, Renee Ahdieh, David Levithan, and others, young adult publishers and authors are using the #YA4Hillary hashtag to discuss why they're voting for Hillary Clinton and urge new adults to make sure they're registered to vote. #YA4Hillary is just heating up, but the tag is already trending on Twitter, with more than 2,000 tweets at the time of this writing.
More than 75 YA authors signed the initial press release to commit to the #YA4Hillary campaign. Some of them had not yet begun tweeting their support when Bustle went to press.
