How Would You Use $50K To Make A Difference In Your Small Business & Community?
The Fund Her Future Grant, H&R Block’s Business Grant for Women, could be a game-changer for your business.

If you’re a small business owner, you know that running a business is anything but boring. Full of challenges and rewards, it’s an exhilarating journey, whether you’re at the start or have been at it for a while. You’re juggling finances, carving out work-life balance, and proving your resilience repeatedly. Even on long days, even when doubt creeps in, your love for what you do keeps you motivated to push forward, pouring your heart and soul into your dreams.
That’s why we’re excited to share some great news for women-owned small businesses. Block Advisors, by H&R Block, is launching the Fund Her Future Grant, putting $100,000 into empowering women-owned businesses — especially those focused on making a difference in their communities — to reach their full potential. If you’re ready and want to see your business take off, this grant could truly be a game-changer.
Opportunity Knocking!
The motivation behind the Fund Her Future Grant is all about giving you the resources and support you deserve as a business owner. Five finalists will be selected from eligible submissions. Four finalists will each be awarded $12,500 grants, and one first-prize winner will walk away with $50,000. On top of that, all winners get access to invaluable business services from the experts at Block Advisors, including bookkeeping, payroll, and tax support, to help manage the financial side of things like a boss. As a small business owner, year-round support from experts who do this every day means you can focus on what you do best — running your business.
Why Women-Owned Businesses Matter
Small businesses are the backbone of our economy, with each playing a vital and unique role in local communities. Women entrepreneurs form 849 new small businesses daily in the U.S. Yes, daily. Women, especially women of color, make the leap into entrepreneurship more quickly than their male peers, owning 13 million businesses overall. Data shows that when women have an idea, they’re more likely to act quickly to make it real.
Women-owned businesses also tend to invest more in their communities, supporting local suppliers and creating opportunities for other women and minorities. By providing jobs and economic stability, small businesses contribute to the overall well-being of their communities, making a significant impact on local economies. Additionally, women-owned businesses often focus on social responsibility and prioritize sustainable practices, benefiting the environment and society as a whole.
But there’s a very real funding and support gap for women-owned small businesses. Access to capital and mentorship is disproportionately smaller for female business owners than for their male peers. The Fund Her Future Grant is designed to change that narrative, bridging the gaps and empowering entrepreneurs like you to turn your dreams into reality.
