Gwyneth Paltrow’s Daughter Apple Jokingly Mocked Her Wellness Rituals On TikTok
Apple poked fun at everything from her mom’s “cleanse” to her “vagina eggs.”
What is the CEO of Goop’s daily routine? Her daughter has some answers. On Sunday, April 4, Gwyneth Paltrow’s daughter, Apple Martin, “roasted” Goop on TikTok, narrating her mother’s morning routine and chronicling her daily wellness rituals. The TikTok, which was posted on the Goop account, and was captioned, “When you get roasted by your gen z daughter…”
“First my mom drinks her GoopGlow Super Powder, and she eats nothing except for dates and almond butter,” Apple tells viewers in her video commentary. The 16-year-old then jokes that the GoopGlow is part of her mom’s “cleanse,” which “she has been on since I was born, apparently.” Apple goes on to narrate her mother’s skin care routine as well, saying, “It’s 8 a.m. and she’s been doing this since 7 a.m. ... She just prances around the bathroom putting on her millions of GoopGlow products for her glowing skin.”
Apple even went so far as to poke fun at Goop’s most notorious products, saying her mother will then get to work “making some more vagina eggs, and also vagina candles, and vagina perfumes, just everything vagina.” The joke is a nod to the wellness company’s “jade yoni eggs,” which are supposed to be used for “a Kegel-like physical practice” and “energy work,” according to the Goop website. The company also famously sells a candle with the name “This Smells Like My Vagina.”
Paltrow, who shares daughter Apple and son Moses, 14, with ex-husband Chris Martin, has been making her family a bigger part of her social media presence lately. The Goop CEO’s daughter also promoted the company’s “glow lotion” on Instagram on April 4, sharing her own morning and skin care routine. Paltrow posted a selfie with Apple on her personal Instagram as well, writing, “Exciting new product launch today featuring one of the absolute loves of my life.”
Last week, Paltrow also shared a sweet note Apple left her on Instagram, showing a Post-it from her daughter, which read, “I love you. I’m sorry you’re having a stressful day.” The Politician actor captioned the photo, “It’s the little things,” alongside an apple emoji.
