9 Shows To Watch If You Like ‘Workaholics’

Comedy Central’s bromantic show Workaholics is going the way of fellow cult comedies as it continues to be a hilarious, long-running TV series. The Workaholics Season 6 finale airs Thursday, March 17. Seriously, it’s been on for been 6 seasons! So, will Workaholics get a season 7?

According to Deadline, the show (starring Blake Anderson, Adam DeVine, and Anders Holm) was simultaneously renewed in 2015 for both Seasons 6 and 7. And, while a 10-episode seventh season is confirmed, there is no official release date at this time. But, the previous three seasons have all aired in January, so that's a likely release time for Season 7.

Like all long-lasting, buddy shows, fans have started to speak the Workaholics language (which is pretty tight butthole) and enjoyed a revolving door of guest stars from Jack Black to Ben Stiller to Liam Hemsworth. With such a solid, funny previous six seasons, fans are already excited for 10 more episodes with their three favorite slackers. But, with some down time before Season 7, there are other TV crews that can help viewers fill the Workaholics void.

1. Broad City

If you love bawdy TV friendship that doesn’t pull punches when it comes to general gnarliness, then Broad City is your next TV addiction. You can stream Seasons 1 and 2 on Hulu.

2. Idiotsitter

Workaholics’ home girl, Jillian Bell, now has her own Comedy Central series, Idiotsitter. A Harvard grad (Charlotte Newhouse) thinks she landed a babysitting gig, when really it’s a job wrangling a criminal adult (Bell). Of course, an unlikely friendship full of raunchy twists and pratfalls is formed. Watch the first season, as it airs, on Comedy Central and Hulu.

3. It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia

If you love ensemble casts that take social topics head on, with both thought and depravity, then the It’s Always Sunny gang is right for you. Watch Seasons 1-10 on Netflix now.

4. Archer

Like Workaholics, Archer is also a workplace comedy with an intriguing cast of characters, though the misadventures have higher stakes (given that Archer is a spy) and, though it’s a cartoon, the sex jokes have a sexier landing. Stream Seasons 1-5 on Netflix.

5. The League

6. Trailer Park Boys

The long-running Canadian series chronicles a trailer park’s cast of characters with Ricky, Bubbles, and Julian’s schemes and friendship as the series' anchor. 7. Reno 911!

When it comes to watching a group of slackers in the workplace, who don’t know they’re slackers, nobody does it better than Reno 911! The farcical group of cops with a winding series of screw-ups and raunch is available to watch on Hulu.

8. Party Down

Party Down and Workaholics sort of have a similar take on life: Jobs pay the bills, people are unpredictable, misunderstandings happen, and almost nothing is off limits. Though, Party Down has a little more heart. Watch the two-season series on Hulu.

9. The Inbetweeners
