Nick Viall has been a, shall we say, divisive, character on this season of The Bachelorette, but for Bachelorette newbies, it’s hard to remember where we’ve seen him before. Luckily, you have experts like me to remind you. The first time we met Nick was on Andi Dorfman’s season of The Bachelorette, where he came in second to Josh Murray. We know what Nick’s done since Andi dumped him, but what has former Bachelorette Andi been up to since her stint on the show? Well, unless we see Andi on The Bachelorette: After The Final Rose on Monday to catch up with her, we won't know for sure. So, let's turn to social media and magazines for all the latest news.
Like I said, Andi picked Josh Murray to be her fella, and, post Bachelorette, their life seemed pretty good. They lived in the same city (Atlanta), they did all their ABC press, they posted plenty of cute pics on social media, and things were peachy… until they broke up. Sigh. Five months after the finale, Josh and Andi called it quits. Love is dead, you guys.
After Andi and Josh ended their engagement, Andi picked up and moved to the Big Apple. That’s right — Andi left Atlanta for New York City, where she hangs out with fellow Bachelor/ette alums like Sharleen Joynt and even current Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe. She also takes time out of her busy schedule to enjoy classic New York eateries like Katz’s delicatessen. One pastrami for me, too, please!
Speaking as someone who lives in New York City, I can attest that it is full of good-looking men. Is Andi busy meeting NYC’s finest bachelors (not Bachelors, but like, real single dudes)? Well, not exactly. Rumors flew earlier this year that Andi was dating none other than Bachelor/ette host extraordinaire Chris Harrison. But, to me, the picture of their "date" was meant to be a joke, and I don’t think that it’s true. If Josh was Andi’s type, I don’t think Chris is.
Someone who may be more Andi’s type? Sam Hunt. According to Us Weekly, hunky country star Sam Hunt and Andi hooked up during the Country Music Awards Festival this year. Andi attended the show with Juan Pablo's ex Nikki Ferrell, and perhaps she was swept away by Hunt's talent? Again, the rumors were called just that — rumors. So, we'll never know for sure.
Frankly, Andi’s dating life is her business and just speculation to us here on the outside, so what about her professional life? Before The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, Andi was an Assistant District Attorney in Atlanta, where she locked up the bad guys. She took a few leaves of absence to be on the shows, finally resigning from her position last year. Andi’s latest professional endeavors seem to be more in the spotlight, including a photo shoot or two for the cover of Resident magazine, a local New York publication.
What else does she have lined up? Not sure — Andi’s website is under construction, but I’m sure she’ll be releasing more info to the public soon. Can’t wait to see what Andi is up to next!
