Demi's "Cool For The Summer" Video Looks Steamy

We're only two days away from the premiere of Demi Lovato's much-anticipated "Cool for the Summer" music video. The 22-year-old pop star shared two previews of the upcoming visual online this week, and they make one thing abundantly clear: Lovato is having a much better/more exciting summer than you are. In the clips, the gorgeously tanned singer is seen painting the town red with a group of impeccably styled gal pals. She dances in da club; she writhes around seductively on a bed! She even flies down the open highway in an expensive convertible with the wind in her hair. She does it all.

Oh, and did I mention she also somehow manages to make a bikini top and a pair of denim cutoffs look really, really exceptionally good together? Because she does. Yes, Lovato is without a doubt the Queen of Summertime.

Soon after "Cool for the Summer" was released, the song came under fire (and rightly so, if you ask me) for the way its lyrics seem to suggest that women who have sex with women are just going through "a phase." Whether or not the video will fan the flames this recent controversy remains to be seen. I'll say this: Lovato has definitely piqued my interest with these two colorful teasers.
