Well, here's some unexpected news for this fine Tuesday. According to a report from People, One Direction singer Louis Tomlinson is expecting a baby with Briana Jungwirth. Bustle has reached out for comment, but did not hear back at the time of publication. Apparently, the 23-year-old singer and the 23-year-old Los Angeles-based stylist, who are reportedly just friends, will become parents sometime next year. A "mutual friend of the couple" told People, “Louis is happy and very excited about becoming a dad and he thinks Briana will be an amazing mother. It was a surprise at first, but he and Briana are very, very close friends and this has brought them even closer."
People also reports a friend of Tomlinson said he has vowed to be a "hands-on-dad" and will be at Jungwirth's side throughout the entire pregnancy. The source also revealed Tomlinson has even flown to L.A. to attend every ultrasound and is house hunting in Southern California. If true, it sure sounds like the 1D singer is "hands on".
The same friend said, “Louis and Briana care about each other very much and have spent a lot of time together privately over the last few months. They are both really happy and although they aren’t in a relationship, their friendship is extremely strong and they are both really excited about the baby. It’s early days and Briana and the baby’s health are the most important things right now.”
With that said, I guess congratulations are in order for Tomlinson!
