Shocking 'Housewives' Moments You Forgot All About

It's been a long (and pretty epic) journey for us Real Housewives fans. In the nine years since the franchise began with its first iteration, The Real Housewives of Orange County in 2006, Housewives loyalists have been treated to plenty of drama — both on-screen and off. We've been watching these women for years and while there are repeats on all the time, it's pretty much impossible to remember every single thing that we've watched over the years. There are several majorly shocking moments from the many Real Housewives cities that you may have forgotten about.

Of course, there are some events that will never be forgotten, like Teresa Giudice's table flip from The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 1. Still, there are some moments that were super scandalous at the time, but may have slipped to the back of your mind. Sometimes a story line just ties up and the incident is never referenced again. Other times, the Housewives in question leave their show and never appear again. No matter how much of a die hard fan you are, it's not possible to remember every single thing.

That said, let's take a walk down memory lane and revisit the drama of years past.

1. Kim Dating Big Poppa

These days, Kim Zolciak has one of the most adorable families in reality television — just check out her spin-off Don't Be Tardy... — but this is a stark difference from the Kim we first met on The Real Housewives of Atlanta. That Kim had a mysterious boyfriend who never appeared on camera. The scandalous part? He was a rich, reportedly married man who helped finance her lifestyle and went by the pseudonym Big Poppa.

2. Vicki Yelling About "Multiple Partners"

I have no idea how this hasn't come up again, but Vicki Gunvalson yelling at Lauri Peterson for spreading rumors about her sex life on a ski mountain is one of the best things I have ever seen on television. The Real Housewives of Orange County scene included Vicki freaking out and yelling, "I have never had multiple sex partners in my life" before calling Lauri "filthy" and using every curse word possible.

3. Phaedra Lying About Her Due Date

Phaedra Parks and her family have had their fair share of scandal since her first season on RHOA — with her husband, Apollo, going to jail and all — so I guess it's easy to sweep this one under the rug. Nevertheless, it's pretty crazy that Phaedra decided to lie about how far along she was in her pregnancy on national television while her cast mates continued to question the validity of her claims. The best part was when she went into labor and made a comment to an actual doctor about a premature delivery and he immediately said that the baby was carried to term. How did she think she was going to get one over on a medical professional? *Shaking my head.*

4. Shereè Pulling Kim's Wig

There have been a lot of brawls on The Real Housewives of Atlanta so I understand how incidents can get lost in the shuffle, but there was one three-way altercation between Nene Leakes, Shereè Whitfield, and Kim Zolciak on the sidewalk outside of a restaurant that really stood out to me. I honestly have no idea what the three were arguing about and I doubt they did either, but things went from zero to 100 when Shereè decided to yank Kim's wig. There was no turning back for the two after that.

5. NeNe Offending Andy Cohen With Her "Queen" Comment

It shocked me when Andy Cohen was finally offended by NeNe's behavior and called her out for her derogatory use of the word "queen" during a reunion show. The host usually tries to stay neutral, so being a part of the action was pretty surprising to see.

6. Kelly Talking Down To Bethenny

Kelly Bensimon delivered some classic lines in some pretty scandalous scenes back in the day on RHONY. My favorite moment had to be when Kelly was at lunch with Bethenny Frankel and she decided to be as condescending as possible. She had the audacity to tell Bethenny, "I'm up here. You're down here" with demeaning hand gestures included. We all know that Kelly could never hold a candle to Bethenny, let's be honest. This whole thing was way off base.

7. Psychic Allison Telling Kyle That Her Husband Will Never Fulfill Her

Psychic Allison DuBois had one of the craziest scenes in RHOBH history. The ladies were at a dinner party and she started spouting out the most insulting psychic predictions. She was friends with Camille Grammer who was a nemesis of Kyle Richards at the time, so maybe it should've been expected that her reading for Kyle would be less than favorable. She gave Kyle an unsolicited prediction stating, "Your husband will never emotionally fulfill you. As soon as your kids are grown up you’ll have nothing in common.” Who actually says that? What awkward dinner conversation!

8. Danielle Alledgedly Being The Subject Of A Scandalous Book

I really miss Danielle Staub on The Real Housewives of New Jersey. She really brought the drama and entertainment in every scene. Things came to a boiling point between Daniella and the other Housewives when the ladies found out that Danielle actually changed her name and was allegedly mentioned in the book A Cop Without a Badge. Among other things, there were mentions of supposed drug deals, arrests, and even a short jail stint. The ladies had a field day talking about Danielle's reputation and would not stop digging into her past. And this revelation even led to that infamous Teresa table flip.

9. Camille & Kyle Arguing About A Trip To Hawaii

Camille is actually one of my favorite Real Housewives. She was the villain in her first season on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, but my girl really turned it around after that. A lot of it stemmed from a misunderstanding with Kyle Richards about a trip to Hawaii. Camille claims that Kyle said, "You're going without Kelsey" to imply that Camille was nothing without her famous actor husband, but Kyle explained that she just figured the husband and wife would go on spring break together. This little misunderstanding fueled the fire for every altercation that season, but on it's own seems so silly in retrospect.

There have been so many scandalous Real Housewives moments, but no matter what you remember, the craziest scenes will live on through reruns — and whenever a Housewife digs really deep into the past for an insult.
