Jaw-Dropping Moments From 'Suicide Squad' Footage
Comic Con is more than a gathering of cosplayers and comic book fans, it's like the Sundance Film Festival for nerd cinema. One of the biggest attractions each year at the San Diego convention are the panels, because they not only have the stars of mega franchises live and in person, they also feature sneak peeks at never-before-seen footage of upcoming movies. This year, Comic Con got the first look at the highly anticipated Suicide Squad . The clip is dark, ominous, and as exciting as it is completely terrifying. It's showing that DC Comics is the gritty yin to Marvel's poppy yang.
Fans have been teased mercilessly since news of the film broke, and now we finally get to see what this band of tortured anti-heroes looks like. Will Smith, Cara Delevingne, Jared Leto, Margot Robbie and the entire squad are absolutely hypnotizing and haunting. It's hard to tell if Suicide Squad is a comic book action flick or a horror film. One thing's for sure: the filmmaker's took a note from Christopher Nolan's take on Batman and turned the f*cked up dial to 11.
Good luck trying to shake the image of The Joker out of your head before bed tonight. Take a look at the clip and it's most jaw-dropping moments:
