13 Songs That Only Cancers Will Understand

For those of you dying to know, I'm a Cancer and, yes, it is currently my birthday month. To all my fellow Cancers out there, sometimes we get a bad wrap for being a bit too emo but throw ya middle finger up to the haters because we Cancers are bosses. And how better to celebrate how awesome we are with a killer playlist that only Cancers will understand?

I will just go ahead and say it: I totally used to think astrology was total BS. However, I thought about how often I take dumb personality quizzes on the internet and believe those and there's actually a bit of science behind astrology so I figured I should open my mind a bit. So here we are.

One thing I have noticed in writing articles like this one is that people hate on them A LOT. Bustle will post a listicle of songs to their Facebook and the comments are always filled with nasty comments along the lines of "These songs suck" or "WTF why didn't they include [insert random song here]?" Well, to any haters reading this, may I remind you that I am a Cancer and my feelings are easily hurt so you should probably back off and stop being so mean. If I could put in a crying Emoji face here, I would.

Financial stability is important to us Cancers and we're not afraid to channel our main b RiRi in times if fiscal insecurity.

Cancers are notoriously loyal to their loved ones. Cancers cherish family and so does Mary J. Blige. TBH, I don't even know what MJB is singing about here so it could totally not be about family... but this song never gets old and has family in the title so here we are.

Though the bitches in Chris Brown's life might not be loyal, we Cancer bitches are.

Apparently Cancers are especially patriotic because, duh, we live in America. Obviously we're obsessed with our country. Also, us Cancer babies have the delight of being born within weeks (or even days, if you're like me) of the most patriotic holiday of the year. Let the U.S.A chants begin.
