Who Attended Ashton & Mila's Secret Wedding?
In case you haven't heard, there's a rumor flying around that Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis got married over the Independence Day weekend in a secret ceremony in California, while the rest of us were busy enjoying fireworks and stuffing our faces in honor of America's birthday. Bustle has reached out to their representatives for comment, but have yet to get a response back. In the meantime, fans and media alike are fascinated — and excited by — the idea that the That 70's Show sweethearts might have finally tied the knot, and it's all that anyone can talk about now. Kunis and Kutcher have already produced the cutest baby in the world in little Wyatt Kutcher, but what was their wedding like? And, even more importantly, which celebrities attended Kutcher and Kunis' wedding? This mystery has yet to be solved, but I'm sure that we can make some educated guesses based on the evidence.
The evidence, of course, being which celebrities the pair actually like and hang out with on a semi-regular basis. After all, you're never too famous to have friends, and both actors have cycled through so many co-stars in their day, or celebrities that they've crossed paths with and hit it off with for various reasons, that a guest list shouldn't be too hard to figure out. It's likely that they had to keep the ceremony small if they were really going to keep it a secret, but these are some celebrities that I think should have been top on the short list to see Kunis and Kutcher tie the knot for the first time. You know, if they tied the knot for the first time.
1. Jason Goldberg
Kutcher and Goldberg run Katalyst Films production company together, and the pair of them also worked on Punk'd together, among many, many other projects. So, basically, Goldberg really needed to be at this wedding, to at least lend Kutcher and Kunis the plausible deniability that rumors of their wedding was just the world getting punk'd one more time.
2. Wilmer Valderrama
Wilmer Valderrama played Fez on That 70's Show, and Fez and Kelso's friendship was legendary. Off-screen, Kunis and Kutcher have hung out with Valderrama, and Demi Lovato, as recently as January 2015, so no doubt he would be on the speed dial to attend any secret ceremony the two may or may not have held.
3. Danny Masterson
Masterson is another That 70's Show co-star with which Kunis and Kutcher have remained close over the years. In fact, Kutcher and Masterson are reuniting for a Netflix show that's coming up, and what better way to start bonding for their roles than to, you know, invite Masterson to a secret wedding? It makes perfect sense to me.
4. Emma Stone
All right, all right, so Emma Stone and Kunis don't hang out a lot. At least, not that we know of. But who doesn't want Stone at their wedding? You only need to meet her once and, in that moment, you know that she would tell the best wedding toast speech known to man — way better than your brother awkwardly could.
5. James Franco
Franco and Kunis have starred, or cameoed, in so many films together that I'm starting to lose track. Kunis has acknowledged that Franco is very, very busy pretty much all the time, but too busy to make time to attend the wedding of one of his favorite actresses? Yeah, I don't think so.
6. Laura Prepon
In between filming seasons of Orange Is The New Black, Prepon could totally make time to attend the secret wedding of her former That 70's Show co-stars. She's been so vocal about how supportive she is of Kunis and Kutcher's relationship that it really just makes sense. Besides, this wedding could have shaped up to be a whole That 70's Show reunion, and who doesn't want that?
7. Macaulay Culkin
Kunis and Culkin ended their romantic relationship in 2014, but, just in case you think it might still be too soon, it was noted at the time that the two were parting amicably and would remain close friends. What would make a better mark of close friendship than Culkin attending the wedding of his ex? Plus, I mean, it would certainly give people something to talk about.
8. Seth McFarlane
Speaking of people Kunis works with a lot, if McFarlane isn't at the wedding to do a toast in every single voice from Family Guy, then why even have a wedding at all?!
9. Rumer Willis
Kutcher might have broken up with Demi Moore, but he has maintained a close and supportive relationship with his former stepdaughter Rumer Willis, close enough that I think she would definitely be invited to his wedding even if Moore wasn't. Besides, since she's fresh off Dancing With The Stars, she could definitely show him some moves at the reception.
We still have to wait before we can find out if Kutcher and Kunis really got married, and what went down at that secret ceremony, but I'd be surprised if at least one of the people listed above wasn't present. The only thing we know for sure is that there were certain people who definitely weren't invited: all of us.
