Rachel McAdams. That's one name everyone should recognize. She is a top actress known for her roles in HBO's True Detective, the Nicholas Sparks adaptation The Notebook, the Sherlock Holmes movies, The Vow, and, of course, Mean Girls. You know what else Rachel McAdams is recognized for? Being amazing and an inspirational woman? Well, duh, but also for dating some extremely talented actors. I mean, who wouldn't want to date her? These are some really lucky men, if I do say so myself.
Ever since McAdams starred in The Notebook, fans have wanted nothing more than for the 36-year-old actress to find love, just like she did as Allie Hamilton with Noah Calhoun. Of course, if she's happy being single, then that's fantastic. Rachel, you do you, girl. Whatever makes your heart soar. What will always be one of the most beloved and memorable celebrity relationships of all time (no, I'm not exaggerating), we have that time Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling dated. They met on the set of their 2004 movie called The Notebook (ever heard of it?). They basically fell in love on set and started dating after the movie wrapped. Sadly, their relationship, which many rooted for, didn't last. However, they seemingly didn't walk away bitter and showed us true love does exist. Heck, in 2007 while chatting with GQ, Gosling called McAdams "one of the great loves of [his] life."
Josh Lucas
In 2009, Rachel McAdams was linked to Josh Lucas, who now stars in NBC's The Mysteries of Laura. Reportedly, the two were spotted making out at the Inaugural Purple Ball in Washington D.C. They were even photographed on several occasions, but seemingly split by the end of 2009.
Michael Sheen
Like that time she dated Gosling, Rachel McAdams' relationship with Michael Sheen wasn't one she kept hidden. The former duo met during Midnight in Paris, but didn't date while filming, per McAdams. As she told The Sunday Telegraph's Stella magazine, they started out as friends and eventually became more serious. In 2010, they took their coupling public. Sheen once told Entertainment Tonight Canada, "She's a genuinely lovely lady as well as being stunningly beautiful and very talented. She's got it all going on there." After two years, McAdams and Sheen broke up.
Jake Gyllenhaal
In June 2015, Rachel McAdams and Jake Gyllenhaal were rumored to be dating. After McAdams presented Gyllenhaal with the Guy Con Award at the Spike TV's Guys Choice Awards, the Southpaw co-stars were "spotted" cuddling. This "relationship" was seemingly all rumors, even though they hung out quite a few times. Plus, now that the actress is said to be dating someone else (below), well, it's probably safe to say she and Gyllenhaal are just friends.

Taylor Kitsch
On July 1, 2015, reports surfaced that McAdams is dating Taylor Kitsch. That's right, the True Detective co-stars are seemingly getting cozy and are said to be "serious." Sources say they haven't been seeing each other that long, but ever since they wrapped their HBO drama, Kitsch and McAdams are a match made in heaven.
Yep, these guys are absolutely lucky to date (or even to be rumored to have dated) someone like the fabulous Rachel McAdams.
